Minister keeps on calling meetings but daily people are killed

I am very much ashamed and not just shocked to pen that for many long months people are killed daily all over the country in general and Karachi in particular but one way or the other Malik Rehman, Interior Minister is not pushed except that he calls meetings. Even today Thursday 31st January, 2013 I have read in newspapers that he has called a high power meeting in Islamabad on security which is to be attended by all provincial IGs, home secretaries and other law enforcing agencies etc but for what. What happened when he called previous meetings? What will happen if he does not call any such meeting?
 
To my understanding all those who are called for meeting from outside are entitled to claim travelling allowance and daily allowance which means that this additional burden is to be borne by our national exchequer which can be quite legitimate expense provided we have achieved anything out of it. Such meetings get press coverage and the all those who attend are known to public through television channels and newspapers but nothing beyond it. No denying the hard fact, hundreds of such meetings have already been held by the minister on different dates and at different places and I have my very serious doubts if anything had been achieved through the meetings simply because law and order situations has not been changed even a bit rather if not annoying thing have gone to worst to be honest. People are killed at will at all the places at any time and it is very rare that the criminals are apprehended. We do read that the police did reach the spot, cordoned off the area, started collecting evidences, met the witnesses and embarked upon thorough investigations but nothing beyond it. The case will be flashed in the newspapers for some days but then it will die out automatically and a few days later none will know about it.
 
Will PM ask Interior Minister to give justification for all the meetings he had on security along with the success rate and if he cannot establish the usefulness of the meetings then the Interior Minister Malik Rehman be asked to return all the money to the state treasury?
