UK importing American Cop to handle UK crisis

This is more illogical than surprising to know that none by Prime Minister David Cameron is chasing Bill Bratton, an American national who once was police chief in New York, USA to join as Prime Minister’s crime advisor to advice him as to how to face and counter riots which plagued the country during the last one week when more than 2,000 males and females have been rounded up and quite a lot are already sent to prisons as well on different counts ranging from rioting; breaking-in; looting; burglary; injuring and hooliganism etc, to name a few.   

Without prejudice to American consultant Bill Bratton, or for that matter even honourable British Prime Minister, I would pen that an appointment of an external person, irrespective of his credentials, and that too at such a sensitive posting in Police on one hand is nothing but an open admission of under estimating UK, which once led the whole world from east to west and from south to north, and on the other hand, it also blatantly proves that now same UK terribly lacks in tapping one of its own national to handle local security and safety crisis. I can very well say with full conviction and confidence that despite the fact that there had been some very negligible lapses, if at all there were, on the part of the police but yet UK must still have not just one rather more than one, not just equal but even superior to BB, in her ranks to shoulder the responsibility to effectively and judiciously handle such like ugly situations. Did someone realize that BB had been chief in New York which is of course a thickly populated cosmopolitan city housing millions coming from different countries with their own traditions; professing and worshipping different religions; speaking variety of languages etc but still it simply cannot match Washington DC which being the capital has its own exclusive entity like other capitals of different countries? In bulk majority of cases, capital chief takes over city chief and not vice-versa? Practically speaking, American environment cannot be same like British environment even though both of them fall under the category of white skinned nations which not all the nations can claim and boast of. I to corroborate my statement would like to quote a very glaring example highlighting my point of view that despite some commonality yet there is a sharp difference between them and hence they are reckoned differently and independently. Take the case of the two languages namely the American English and the British English which are quite apart to the extent that one has a choice to buy either an American dictionary or a British dictionary even though on the face of it both are English languages with same common twenty six letters.

Will the nation accept it alike, to impose an alien as chief boss, I very seriously doubt? However, now when a quite a lot from the concerned higher echelon have very openly opposed PM on such a move I think it is very high and ripe time for the chief executive of the country not to juggle any more with the fate and sentiments of the people unless he himself willingly and happily wants to still dent his repute still the more. I myself have read the remarks of different people both at the sites of televisions and newspapers full of thorny languages, some even derogatory about this appointment itself speaks aloud that there is a big resentment amongst the people who are not all in a welcome mood. However, if this does not serve as an eye opener for the worthy Prime Minister then alternatively, why doesn’t he go for public poll to get a clear cut answer from the majority who, God forbid, are eventually and likely to be handled by the imported American expert?  There must be three polls, if not five, so that a clear cut answer to the problem is sought from the general masses and though polls do not have any legal authority for implementation but nevertheless the polls will voice on behalf of the people and the past experience says that polls have always proved to be very effective and worthy.

BTW, is it believable, from any set of imagination or fantasy that miraculously USA has now been completely overhauled to the extent that the country has turned up as an absolutely crime-free country on the face of earth, and if the answer is no repeat no which is the only and the absolute answer to be honest, then BB is more needed there in the US to worry and take care of his own compatriots rather than here in the UK to deal with none but aliens? Where do we apply the rule of nationalism or more correctly patriotism which is very much applied as I have read even while schooling what to talk of university education and how come this internationally accepted principle is not being applied and invoked in this particular case under the reference, may I dare ask?

Summing up, I would like to pronounce in full throttle at the pitch of my voice that you the British people, belonging to none but a Super Power, should be truly proud of yourselves and this is the very ripe and right opportune for you all to be united and rise up to the test proving to USA in particular and the world in general that your capabilities and potentials should not and cannot be under estimated whatsoever.
