When the US decided to invade Afghanistan in October 2001, both Afghanistan and Pakistan were on very friendly terms. For the first time in Pakistan’s history its western border had become safe. For the past fifteen years, I have assumed bloody revolution is the only solution to the corrupt systems in Pakistan. I linked it with impending change. The major pillars of society are buried so deep in fraudulent practices that I thought only bloody revolution could make it right.
