Why don’t all those who think MNS to be the plunderer of the national wealth get together and field a joint candidate for the chairmanship of the Senate? Would he not become still more powerful if the chairman senate is also one of his partisans? Is it a big rocket science which they don’t understand that by voting for their individual candidates their votes would get divided and the MNS nominee

Almost all political leaders are openly accusing large scale exchange of ‘notes’ for votes in the Senate Elections. The amount of money alleged to have changed hands is mind boggling – 92 crores for a few Senators and 4 crores paid to each MPA etc. If true, can those indulging in it - both the payers and the beneficiaries - be called upholders of the sacred practices and norms of democracy?
