PML-Q Changes Tone

By ghazala "¢ Jan 6th, 2008 "¢ Category: Politics "¢ (30 views) "¢ One Response

PML-Quisling has got a new lifeline after the postponement of the elections in Pakistan, which were previously scheduled to be held on 8th January, 2008. After the horrific and brazen blackwash of two times former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on 27 th January in Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi, and PPP decided to contest the elections to accumulate the sympathy votes, and it was all set for them.

The moment they decided to contest the elections, news started to leak from the cadres of PML-Q and state correspondents that Election Commission was finding it very hard to hold elections on the prescribed date, as the riots in Sindh and Balochistan had made it extremely difficult. On the flimsy and weaker grounds, regime managed to delay the elections, and astonishingly enough it didn't face much opposition, though all the opposition parties including Muslim League Nawaz and People's Party Zardari protested against the announcement.

Now as the initial shocks and fears are wearing down from the volatile memories of Pakistanis, PML-Q is also started to utter different tones from its mouth. The remained in recluse after some days of Benazir's murder, but now they have come out of their hidings, and have started to target the opposition.

General ® Pervez Musharraf, the founder and guardian of PML-Q, has also started supporting the King's Party indirectly by saying that it was only Benazir's own fault that she became victim of the terrorist attack in Rawalpindi. Had she not poke her head out of that sunroof, she would not have been killed.

Pervez Elahi, the aspirant to-be Prime Minister of Pakistan has also said that People's Party has received two blows, one is the assassination of their leader, and the other is appointment of Asif Ali Zardari as their chairman. He has predicted that the future of PPP is bleak, and he also added that Shahbaz Sharif has become "Zardari Junior." Funny man this Pervez Elahi is. He is now trying to play the Punjab Card. Interestingly enough he has setup a relief camp for riots-affected Sindhis in Lahore. He knows that if he gets seats from Punjab, he is all set for the top slot.

He is targeting both the main parties. One has to admire the spinelessness of this man. He cannot for the life of him believe that people hate him and for whatever he stands for. How audacious of him to say that people would give him vote after their gruesome and suffering rule of previous years. The nation who is right now suffering from price hike, hoarding, load shedding, poverty, unemployment, terrorism, and the lotas just hate the guts of these Chuadharies and other feudal toadies.

Memories of this nation are really short, but there sufferings aren't. And they will vote while suffering and one can easily guess where those votes will go. Only rigging can save the PML-Quisling now.
