Press Statement

The exposures in the secret documents brought out by WikiLeaks show that Bush or Obama, whoever may be its president, the US is a rogue state run by its military-industrial-bureaucratic system bent upon imposing its hegemony over the world. Forget about the interests of world people, the leaked documents show that it does not bother about even about the sentiments of those considered its allies and lackeys. It is using its embassies as espionage centers and treat  the leaders of other countries as its vassals. In spite of it, the prime minister Manmohan Singh and his foreign minister are repeating that India shall continue to be a close ally of  US! It is a most shameful act.

During Obama’s visit to India, the Indian administration was exposing its neo colonial servitude to this international bully which is actually promoting terrorism around the world in the name of fighting ‘war on terror’.. The excitement created by these leaders that Obama has upheld India’s demand for elevation to UN Security Council membership is proved hollow by the statement of the US state secretary that India is nothing but a self appointed front runner. That the US is working hard to intensify the rift between India and Pakistan to promote its multi billion dollar arms trade to both is also exposed further by these documents, if anybody want further proof for it. During Obama’s visit it could offload a big part of its burden due to ongoing economic crisis on our country and create conditions for 50,000 jobs in job starved US. Now the leaked documents prove how, similar to this it is undermining the interests of other countries  including its closest allies

Earlier the NDA government and from 2004 the UPA government have signed numerous agreements transforming India in all respects to its so called strategic ally which in US language means nothing but its loyal lackey. In Afghanistan except for combat purposes, for all other purposes Indian military and para military forces are deployed as mercenaries. India is used by it to strengthen its sway over Asia. All these agreements are in the interests of US imperialists and their lackeys only.

CPI[ML] demands that  the UPA government cancel all so called strategic agreements signed by it with the US administration. We demand that India should condemn the rogue acts of the  US administration as exposed by these leaked documents the authenticity of which is not challenged even by Obama or Hillary  Clinton.

But the class character and past records of these rulers in India remind us that  they are not going to retrace their steps. So it is the responsibility of the revolutionary left and democratic forces to intensify their efforts to mobilize the masses and intensify the struggles against this comprador government to compel it to do so.
