Friendly Opposition

While addressing an election gathering in Azad Kashmir MNS castigated the PPP government of high corruption, saying that not a day passes when some mega corruption scandal involving billions does not surface. The question arises what is the opposition and the leader of the opposition doing in the assembly?  Is it not their task and duty to keep a check on the government and not allow it a free hand for indulging in such a blatant corruption?  Why is it not doing its duty?  The answer to this question came immediately the same day on another TV channel where Babar Awan waiving a piece of paper alleged that the Sharif brothers were the biggest defaulters of waiving the bank loans and the cases against them were still pending in the courts.  That explains everything.  You don’t touch our cases in the court and we would look the other way while you make the hey.  Allah Allah khair sallah.
