Ah! Ambreen

How could someone stoop so low to the abysmal depths of such an appallingly terrible inhuman act of setting to torch a wretched helpless young girl for helping a friend to elope, if even she did?  Where were our law enforcing agencies when the self appointed jirga of the hoodlums was in session for almost 5 hours debating the fate of the poor unwary innocent girl?  Where were her kiths and kin, relatives, neighbours and other thekedars of Islam when she was being dragged out of her bed at midnight? I am sure she must cried and wailed but were all around her deaf that no one came to her rescue?  And we call ourselves Muslims, the followers of the MOST peaceful religion of the world?!!

If it is true that she was burnt while still alive consequent upon the orders of the Jirga, then each member of the Jirga including its Sar Punch be burnt similarly alive and one by one in turn so the horrible spectacle is witnessed  by each Jirga member and in front of the entire village.

I hope, justice will be done and done speedily and not dragged for years and would be seen to have been done.
