Proud to be Pakistani
A letter in the Pakistan Observer June 6th, 2009 from a Karachi University student Qurat ul-Ain Iftikhar speaks volumes about the standard of education in our universities. Some excerpts from the letter:
“ no load shedding occurs last week”. Lest someone disregards it as a minor typo, here are a few more. “ in this month paper was started in Karachi university”. “Due to decrease of load shedding I ----”. “ Now I proud to be Pakistani”. Still not impressed, see what follows. “ And I feel those one day we will saw Pakistan are on the stage of great success” !!
Karachi university: If such is your product, I am not impressed, please.
