Hamas, as the true representatives of the Palestinians and successor leader of PLO which is now under the control of Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas and his advisers in USA and Israel, has insisted on a right to all of Palestine, including what is now Israel, but has said it could commit to a long-term truce lasting 15 to 20 years. However, Hamas would agree for Arab peace plan which Israel is still hesitant to acknowledge properly even after shaking hands with the Arabs. Israel and USA insist on recognition of Israel by all Arab nations, including Hamas as a precondition for talks or settlements. But Israel does not show any real inclination to vacate the Palestinian lands. Rather, they should first recognize the Palestinians as human beings eligible to live in their home lands and the legitimate demands of Hamas.

Hamas has clearly stated it could accept a Palestinian state in lands Israel captured in a 1967 Middle East war, but it has rightly refused to give Israel formal recognition. Israel like small child insists that Hamas recognize Israel and that is ridiculous indeed. How can the occupiers expect the occupied to recognize the fascist Israel that has killed thousands of innocent Palestinians? First of all, Israel has to recognize Hamas and the democratic elections held in Palestine and request both Fatah and Hamas to form a unity government.

US-Israel controlled Fatah and Palestinian Hamas formed a short-lived unity government in 2007, with a platform saying it would "respect" the PLO's previous commitments. But it was not enough to bring an end to the international embargo on the coastal territory. But both USA and Israel did not recognize Hamas and the democratic poll in Palestine and coerced President Abbas to dismiss the Hamas led government. Rest is a part of Arab history now.

It appears, USA-Israel combine seeks to end the Palestine and add the entire Palestinian lands to Israel. President (Fatah) Mahmoud Abbas still depends on US-Israel support for his survival and, therefore, rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas have so far failed to overcome obstacles in reconciliation talks which they hope will lead to a unified governing body for the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Abbas has become an effective instrument of US-Israeli masters. Looking to Washington-Tel-Aviv for guidelines for his future plans, Abbas has insisted during Egyptian-hosted talks taking place in Cairo that Hamas must "abide" by existing peace agreements signed with Israel, but Hamas has refused to make such a commitment and they could consider respecting the truce, if Israel shows sincerity and let Fatah function independently of Mossad-CIA dictates. The agreements and commitments with Israel were signed by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), now headed by Abbas. But fascist Israel unleashed holocaust on Palestinians..

Israel should stop making false allegations about Hamas and stop blockades and killing the Palestinians for sadistic pleasure sake. It is high time the world now controlled by USA-EU-Israel respected the sentiments of true Palestinians and considered transfer of PLO into the safe hands of Hamas and also make both Fatah and Hamas to form a unity government to seek their lands and sovereignty back from occupying fascist Israel. The Quartet could arrange for the smooth transfer of PLO from Fatah into the elected Hamas which works for the welfare of all Palestinians and would shield them from Israeli attacks with support from Arabs, Iran, Turkey and the Quartet, UN, UNSC, USA and EU. The Mideast clock has to be set back properly.
