Civil Lead Engineer

Accountabilities

• Manage all the Civil Engineering design (Front end engineering) activities and deliverables for a specific project and ensure timely completion

·         Prepare Civil Engineering Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) catalogue.

·         Prepare, check or approve Civil Engineering deliverables. Provide detailed engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standards.

·         Support quality assurance and HSE compliance audits for civil projects and reviews in accordance with Project requirements

·         To ensure all specialist engineering support and advice meets the required safety and environmental standard

• Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processes.

• Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurement. Ensure equipment vendors provide timely and quality input into design packages.

• Support design/drawing office personnel with specialist engineering input.

·         Demonstrate repeatability and constant improvement in projects across a broad of geographic, technical and cultural difference

·         Prepare, check or approve Civil Engineering deliverables.

·         Support quality assurance and HSE compliance audits for civil projects and reviews in accordance with Project requirements.

·         To ensure that work is executed within allocated manhours and on agreed schedule with highest quality.

·         To ensure all specialist engineering support and advice meets the required safety and environmental standards.

·         To ensure that technical integrity is fully maintained

·         To ensure that cost reduction opportunities are pursued and exploited wherever appropriate.

·         To keep abreast of technical development and progress in the oil/gas industry.

Experience and Qualifications required

·         University Graduate in Civil Engineering discipline with minimum 12 years experience

·         6 years experience in Front End Engineering Design in oil/gas industry

·         In Familiar with American, British and other International Codes, Standards and

Specifications. Knowledge of shell standards (SPs, ERD and DEPs) will be preferred.

Pipeline Lead Engineer

Accountabilities

·         To manage all the pipeline activities and deliverables for a specific project and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards.

·         Prepare pipeline Cost, Time and Resource (CTR) catalogue

·         Prepare pipeline budgets.

·         Lead the pipeline team assigned to the project.

·         Maintain and monitor pipeline engineering progress against plan.

·         Prepare, check or approve pipeline deliverables.

·         Participate in or lead design reviews, HAZOP’s and IPF reviews on pipelines and production systems.

·         conducted.

·         Application and maintenance of engineering processes, systems and tools (software).

Experience and Qualifications

Degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years experience in pipeline design and construction.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Front End Engineering Design

Basic understanding of pipeline hydraulics (single phase and multiphase as well as steady state and dynamic behaviour)

Basic understanding of pipeline corrosion processes and other factors influencing material selection.

Good communicator with experience in leading small teams.
