A Mature Pakistan
Sixty years on"¦.
It has taken the nation 60 years to learn the benefits of unity, faith and discipline.
These were the 3 foundation principles that the Qaid/ leading father Muhammed Ali Jinnah preached again and again to his nation of young fledglings.
Pakistan's conception was under tremendous chaos but not uncertainty. The people who migrated and those who awaited them, both Muhajireen and the Ansar were in no manner of any little passion than the muhajireen and ansar of the first muslim state Al Medina tul Munawara 1400 years before. They were all certain of faith and firm of conviction that 'Ban Ke Rahai Ga Pakistan' a nation where freedom of expression and the right of determination will not be challenged as all will be nothing more or nothing less, of only one cast and one conviction and that will be the sense and recognition of being 'A Pakistani'.
Why did the nation convert into 3 nations within, an ultimate authority, the escaping class and the needy?
In reality we had shifted only our physical longitudes but not our mental longitudes that were so deeply suppressed by a century of British oppression that we could not immediately claim our rights. British had left only in person but not in function or apparatus.
Therefore it was easy for one section of the nation to grab its institutions and establish their might, while the other fleeing the system and the remaining after roti, kapra aur makan.
Over the years the nation seemed to have become a hopeless state of the have alls and the have nots one in command and the other in service. While the middle class fleeing with their degrees became a lucrative commodity for other nations where they displayed good conduct and contributed to the ever increasing status of those nations while their own nation Pakistan suffered!
In all this dearth of intellectual awareness of liberty the nation seemed to be sliding further into the depths of anarchy and injustices. The height of this was claimed on 8 th March 2007 when a conscientious Chief Justice of Pakistan was forced to comply or resign!
The patron of the people Justice Iftikar Chaudari declined and protested against this unfair theft of his position and brought his case to the people's court on the streets of Pakistan. Alhamdulliah not only did the judicial community unite with their chief but the whole nation united and supported their patron. Justice Iftikar Chaudhari was the most illegible chief justice of Pakistan who served the people and not the government in the true sense. He blocked the illegal selling of the nation's assets; he responded to the cries of the missing person's families and inquired of the government concerning the missing Pakistanies. He banned the reckless excesses on the bassant which claimed many lives.
Most of all he showed us how to claim our 'Liberty' with Unity Faith and Discipline.
He showed the grieving nation a glimpse of hope. He brought to the surface a whole community of equipped law holders the 'missing middle class'. 'The Middle Class' the solid molten that binds the nation towards decisive growth. A class that does not resort to excesses but employs reason and voices against injustices. A class that not only inquires but also contributes in the building of a nation.
The state of Pakistan declined because this class was led to migrate and be grabbed most willingly by the nations who understood the contributions this particular brand can make.
A Nation's survival depends on its population who is willing to sacrifice themselves but not their values.
A Nation whose population is in poverty is at a risk of manipulation and being led by others and their personal agendas.
A Nation whose population becomes hoarders who consolidate and not share equally is at a risk of being corrupted by all the power and wealth.
True democracy is not the right to vote but the right to voice out!
True democracy is not the writ of the state but the writ of the people.
True democracy is independence of a Nation's Institutions.
True democracy requires the critical mass of people who can lead the nation and not some cabal or a party with vested interests who leads!
Hope the whole nation becomes one class not above not below but in the middle, where everything is for everyone"¦"¦..aameen
Hope the Middle class will turn the tables and return more, than fleeing the nation"¦..aameen
Now that the Judiciary has found its lost independence lets hope other civil institutions also learn to unite and guard their independence in order to serve the people of Pakistan and not the Cabal that lives in concrete domes.
All eyes are now on the Nations Politicians to display unity under the APC all parties committee. Hope Nawaz Sharif has matured also and has risen above his capitalist mentality and is sincerely ready to serve the nation and not just his family"¦"¦"¦.. He needs to first cultivate a democratic system of election on merit within his own party before becoming a champion of democracy on a national level"¦"¦then if god willing his time will come!
As for now its deal or no deal!....... PM to BB
