They are acting in the same way, this Police was formed to supress the lay man, to avoide any insuregency against British Rule. Now ideology is changed and our Police is being used to supress their own people. No one will change this "thana culture", this Police system is the safe heaven to protect the priviledged class. Most crimes like prostitution, gambling,looting, theft, bhata, all are being committed under the wings of our Police. How a lay man is treated in THANA, we all know. If Police is protecting the previlidged class, they make fortune for themselves too.Feudal system and Martial Lawas are to blame for this.
