Our life time trouble document
Unless and until you read the subsequent lines, the caption itself will not get your attention but please let me still advise you in your own interest that you must not skip it over rather read it in full and then use your own authority, sources and resources and, if you are weaker like me, then instead of abandoning, seek the help of your relatives, friends, class fellows, neighbors and or any man and woman you deem fit to sort it otherwise countless will continue suffering till the dooms day. Alternatively, the document under reference may not be used at all to ward off the trouble but, to be honest, physically speaking all of my Muslim compatriots irrespective of the category they belong to namely male or female, governor or governed, educated or illiterate, rich or poor, employed or unemployed, white or black, Urdu speaking or English speaking, tall or short, youth or old, supporter of PPP or opposition, resident of capital or domiciled of a village do need the document if not today then tomorrow but one day it is needed unless the person is under age. It would be quite
pertinent and prudent to pen that even though the document was very much needed and used way back on 29th June, 1985 and I will say publicly with full conviction, authority and sincerity that it will not be needed by me any more but ever since I am the type who cares for others and not self, I had to pick up a pen and start writing it.
Pakistan Nikah-Nama is 43 x 34.9 cm whereas A3 paper size is 42 x 29.5 cm, in other words, it is bigger on both sides than the standard paper and had it been limited to the A 3 paper size only, I had not written it but it has an inherent problem hence I, despite being living under regulated cool temperature during the sizzling heat (43 max 24 min recorded yesterday) I simply could not hold back my anger. Don’t we Pakistanis know that standard photo copiers accept up to A 3 size so how to photo copy it? You are admittedly the most intelligent amongst all nationalities and not only Pakistanis to say that Nikah Nama can easily be reduced not only to A 3 but to any size even unreadable size. Vow! You are Pakistani Aristotle or Plato or both which ever pleases you most to solve the riddle and resultantly I am ashamed of myself to be too naïve to understand that photo copier reducer does the job. Remember standard photo copiers found in all the countries, irrespective of their topographical situation which could be west, east, south or north, have glass screen sized to A 3 only so the portion which is bigger than the photogenic screen of the photo copier will not be photo copied in any case. The bigger machines which do accept even bigger size than our Nikah nama are not that common in a rich country like Kuwait known for affluence what to talk of my beloved Pakistan where every minute countless are very excitedly and happily matrimonially knotted and affix their signature on the document but as and when they need to photo copy the same, majority of them, if not all of them must be at least grumbling if not cursing those officials who designed, approved and introduced such an abnormal size of life saving document.
Now when you have read me, may I ask which 'F' you belong to, if not annoying-my friend or my foe?
