Arrested today but acquitted tomorrow

Yesterday late evening it was breaking news on television channels that in Quetta 5 police officers including SP were arrested from a police station. It further said that a person abducted from Dalbandeen was detained at police station and the police had demanded handsome ransom money to release him. The raiding party not only found the person so abducted  but also recovered ransom money which police officials were to share in between.

It is alleged that these law enforcers and protectors were themselves involved in kidnapping and pocketing ransom money which runs into minimum 6 digits if not 7 so one can very well imagine as to how lucrative is the business for the police to mint and not get extra money over and above what the government pays to them. Now once it is established as to who abducts and who pockets money by committing such heinous crime  I very seriously doubt that it could be not true and but fabricated news and therefore the said must be punished severely  and publicly so that all those who work in police dare not indulge in such criminality. Incidentally our police are known for being corrupt so it is not something new rather on the contra it is the confirmation of the impression our police carries.

However, relying in the past bitter experiences I think, I wish I am wrong which I am not, that eventually these officers arrested yesterday will be acquitted honorably which is my prophecy and prediction.
