It requires larger than a man to admit one's follies. Let's try as a nation to rise to those heights and confess that we did err in "over-Islamising" Pakistan and that too quite unwarrantedly. This has unfortunately given birth to religious polarisation and sectarianism tearing at the very fibre of our national unity. There was no need for it at all. Some time back the Interior Minister resolved to eradicate corruption within seven days. A news item appearing in this context said that the head of the department concerned would also be held equally responsible for the corruption indulged by any of his subordinates. Though it may sound somewhat unreasonable yet, that's the way to deal with the corruption found so rampant now a days in the office

It was quite shocking to listen to (convicted) PM “Yusuf Raza Gilani” while he was giving an interview to a foreign journalist, said about the depressed, oppressed and troubled Pakistanis “Why don’t they leave the country? Who is stopping them?” The astonishing face expression of the interviewer was a shame for all countrymen that whom we have chosen to govern us? They have made us a public joke
