APL supports ‘ECL’ orders against NRO beneficiaries LONDON, January 9, 2012 - The Association of Pakistani Lawyers (APL), a team of Pakistani origin lawyers, Solicitors, Barristers, and Judges in UK has supported ‘ECL’ orders against NRO beneficiaries as the inaction on court orders will spread anarchy in the Country.

APL chair has said that the NRO case has closed post review and Govt is defying to implement court orders especially when the President of Pakistan on national TV have declared that Govt of PPP will not implement Supreme Court order of 16 December 2009 as it will be ‘desecration’ of the grave of its leader Benazir Bhuttoo hence he has given his and his party’s future intentions to defy Superior court further and he and all those named in ‘NRO’ should be barred from travelling overseas and their names must be put on ‘exit Control list’ until final decree of the court on this continued contemptuous trail of statements, actions and claims which are damaging the rule of law and drive for constitutionalism and independence of judiciary.
