According to a news report ECP has suspended the membership of 26 parliamentarians for not declaring their assets by the deadline date of September 30th, 2013. I simply fail to understand as to why did they not do so?! What were they afraid of? These 26 are probably not aware of the power that their clout enjoys. Latif Mehsud, second in command of the so called "Tehriq e Taliban Pakistan" was captured by the US forces a few days ago in Afghanistan, after Pakistan's ISI tipped off US forces of the "top commander of the Afghan Taliban". A few Ahmadis at Lahore are reported to have been stopped by the Police from offering Qurbani. Nothing could be stranger than that.
