Though a welcome news that the govt. has overruled the increase in the prices of fuel suggested by OGRA yet, it put me to thinking as to what the heck these Regulatory Authorities are doing in Pakistan? Don’t they make their recommendations after taking all pros and cons into consideration in the best interest of Pakistan that the govt (read PM) just overrules them ostensibly in the public interes

I propose that the under construction border gate at Torkham be named “Changezi Gate” after the valiant brave Major Ali Jawwad Changezi Shaheed to commemorate and immortalize his Shahadat that would also serve as a bitter reminder to the Afghans across of the immense bravery and sacrifice of the Shaheed for his country.

It would be ungrateful on the part of the pensioners not to thank the govt. for the 10% and 25% relief offered to them.
