Colonel (˜Ñäá) Imam was killed by Hakimullah Mehsud - the Emir of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) - who was himself killed by a US drone attack on 1 November. Colonel Imam was kidnapped along with his fellow ISI officer Khalid Khawaja, British journalist Asad Qureshi and his driver Rustam Khan on March 26, 2010.
